Collection of F-16s with Weasel Markings
About the actual aircraft:
The F-16 fighter was developed as a fighter aircraft for the U.S. Navy and is also deployed around the world.
The aircraft, which first flew in 1974, is characterized by its blended wing body, which integrates the fuselage and main wings.
It also attracted the world's attention for its practical application of the fly-by-wire control system, which was innovative at the time.
The aircraft has been repeatedly improved and updated since its first operation in the U.S. in 1978, and it still maintains and demonstrates the latest functions and performance.
It is also deployed to the 35th Fighter Wing of the U.S. Air Force deployed at Misawa Air Base in Japan, where it performs Wild Weasel missions.
The aircraft is well known in Japan with markings after the Wild Weasel and Weasel names.
